Home Service Cancelled

Posted in General by kcougler on May 23, 2011

After 15 years providing home servicing I am calling it quits. There is simply too much business out there for me to handle effectively. Quite frankly, I desire to spend the evenings with my two-year old and beautiful wife of eight years  instead of out servicing. Therefore, effective at the end of June, 2011 I will no longer be accepting new home servicing clientele. If you are a current home servicing client or one of my corporate clients I will continue to support you as usual as well as new corporate clients.

I feel this decision will enable me to serve my existing clients properly while maintaining a health balance of work, play and family in my life.

Thank you!

SEO in a Small Town

Posted in Websites by kcougler on May 2, 2011

Do people really care about SEO in a small city like Woodstock, Ontario, Canada? I’m going to find out. Today I put out an opportunity for 400 area businesses to attend a FREE seminar about SEO and Online Marketing.

Click, my company, has several clients from large cities for SEO and Online Marketing but very little interest in my own hometown of Woodstock. Does the price scare them off? Or is it just a matter of the need for the service taking a while to “catch on” in a town where is business as usual. Well, I’m going to find out. The free SEO seminar will be on June 6, 2011 and I’ll update this blog every few days or so to let you know.

Creating Websites

Posted in Websites by kcougler on March 28, 2011

Creating your own website is an excellent way to learn a new skill and hopefully represent your company at the same time. There are many thoughts around websites but one rule I like to live by is to keep the content and the site fresh. This means updating content on a regular basis and changing the theme, layout or overall design of your site every couple of years. Be sure to incorporate new ideas such as social networking which is widely used by millions.

The intent of the website is important as well. For instance are you creating your site as an informational tool for your existing clients or are you hoping that new clients will find you through search engines like MSN, Google and Yahoo! This is called Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and you should pay close attention to this when creating your site. For more information on website design, development and search engine optimization become a member of Get Clickin! today!

Purpose of Website

Posted in General by kcougler on March 21, 2011

Why is this site here? It’s not just to have a web presence. At Click, we believe in helping our customers as much as we possibly can. So we developed this site which will convey important information to people about how to fix computer problems, what’s new and coming up in the IT world, what to do with their old computers, etc. Basically, this site is Click’s chance to give something back.

It will also provide a way for our clients to comment and communicate with each other. Have a question about IT? No problem. If you purchase a VROC yearly membership you can post as many questions as you like in our client forum and have it answered by an IT professional. To purchase a Click Yearly Membership click here.

This site is always changing so check back on a regular basis. If you have suggestions on how to improve the site let us know by contacting us.

Thanks for landing here, taking the time to read a few posts and most of all…Get Clickin!
